Sipan Tires and Rims is Ottawa’s best place to buy wheels and tires. This local business with a stellar reputation for excellent service and fair prices has both a growing brand and growing ambitions.

With an ambition to become one of Canada’s premiere Wheel and Tire retailers, Sipan Tires and Rims contracted Rocket Focus to develop and execute a brand new digital marketing strategy to work towards that goal. This would involve a wholesale takeover of the brand’s online efforts. While we work towards the goal of a brand new website for Sipan, we have driven new customers through our ongoing Social Media, Pay-Per-Click Advertising and Email Marketing Efforts. Rocket Focus has also invested heavily in a content-led SEO strategy that has resulted in a significant boost to local search engine rankings.

Our approach to the digital marketing campaign of this Ottawa based retailer started off on a bit of a different note. The company had already done the leg-work of doing a deep psychographic analysis of their customer base and who they wanted to reach in the Ottawa region. This was the bedrock upon which Rocket Focus built out the rest of our digital marketing strategy. With a hollistic approach we developed cost-effective methods of driving new clients and shoring up existing and new channels for informing Sipan’s customers of new products, deals and promotions.

Sipan has a fanatical base of customers. They come back year after year, but that base of customers was yearning for more information.

Through the redevelopment and creation of Sipan’s social media channels we’ve added a regular stream of useful information and fun elements into Sipan’s social media presence. Additionally we’ve redeveloped the channels into a way to push existing and new customers down the sales funnel, pushing them to come into the shop.

Building authoratative content in the age of Google is not just about writing for a machine algorithm. It’s quite the opposite actually. It’s about writing content that not only demonstrates knowledge and authority, but also demonstrates that you are  writing for the humans that reach your content by way of particular informational and commercial intent searches.

 A detailed process of defining the type of content Sipan’s targeted demographics would respond to was pursued which lead to the development of a content strategy. The result? Hugely increased search engine rankings for targeted keywords, along with hundreds of social shares and increased local domain authority.
